Sick and tired of having to hold the steering wheel constantly while sitting on autopilot?
This ECU intercepts the CAN messages going to the Driver Assistance System to fool it into thinking you have your hands on the steering wheel!
The driver must always stay attentive and alert and be ready to take over at any time.

How long does the installation take?
- 10 Minutes, and the only tool needed is a 10mm socket – simple enough that anybody can do it!
How long can I take my hands off the wheel for?
- You can go hands free for 8 minutes. After which you need to nudge the wheel momentarily to confirm you are still there and then its good for another 8 minutes and so on. This is to ensure you haven’t fallen asleep etc…
Is it safe?
- The ECU has been tested over 3 months over thousands of miles to ensure reliability, also user inputs to the steering wheel will always override any of its affects.
Does it cause irreversible changes to my Tesla?
- Nope – its completely plug and play and has been designed in such a way no permanent modifications are made to the vehicle.
Can Tesla Detect its installed?
- Tesla cannot currently detect its installed, unlike wheel weights which are now useless. Tesla may patch the exploit the ECU uses in the future but if this happens the ECU can be flashed with new firmware with the build in USB port.
Can my Tesla Still Receive updates?
- Yes as usual.
Will it void my warranty?
- Technically yes only if seen installed in person (it cannot be detected remotely), however due to the 10 minute installation time it can be quickly removed if worried when taking the car to Tesla for service.
Why is it possible to buy different variations?
- Tesla has changed the steering rack 3 times since start of production in 2012, hence you need to select the one with the connector that corresponds to your vehicle! If you order the wrong item you will be liable for return and re-postage fees.
